Caring for your LUMi

• We recommend cleaning the exterior of the lampsshade by dusting with a soft brush

• If the fabric is mouldy or stained, swab gently with a damp warm water-soap solution - please do not get the fabric too wet as it might separate from the lining

• Use the same techniques for the interior of your shade 

• the wooden base is made from untreated natural pine, which should not need any care other than dusting when necessary

• you can increase the beauty of the wood  by treating with any wood conditioner or wax (available from hardware stores)

• you can also easily change the colour of the natural wood if you wish to personalise it with timber stain, varnish paint 

• Before doing any work on the wooden base remove it from the shade by firmly pulling it while holding onto the top of the shade
