What

You and your mates will not only be going home with your own fabulous, unique shade, but will get a thorough grounding into the art of modern lampshade making.

You can choose to make either a drum shape or tapered shape shade in a choice of sizes (S, M, L and XL) - options shown at checkout.

Difficulty

No prior knowlegde, or skills are required - this is Lampshade-Making 101.

 I'll be taking you step by step through each stage of the process - although at some times it's a little fiddly - I'll be doing my best to make this as easy and fun as possible!

What's included

• All the supplies you'll need are included (except fabric*).. this includes professional quality adhesive backings, frames, and tools
• Tea, coffee (bags) and biccies provided 

What to bring

• BYO fabric, or purchase on the day*
• If you have a pair of good fabric scissors please bring them, but no worries if you don't (I have plenty)
• Please bring an old credit, or store loyalty card (something that doesn't matter if it gets a bit bent)

Fabric

• BYO FABRIC: All the info you need re. type and qty will be emailed following booking
• If you'd rather buy here, you can do so on the day with cash - I have a stash of mostly colourful printed fabrics (not many plains I'm afraid!), with prices between $10 and $50 depending on what you choose.  (If you've seen something online here on my website that you love, let me know so I can check availability and advise price).  If you're planning on buying here please arrive 20mins ahead of scheduled start to choose and prep your fabric.

What else

• Kits are available to purchase if you'd like to turn your lampshade into a pair, or another size/shape entirely
• Lampshade supplies, and fabrics are also available to purchase on the day

Cancellation

Due to the difficulties of refilling short-notice vacancies in small-group workshops I'm sorry but NO REFUNDS are available.

However - you can transfer your booking to a friend or family-member to attend in your place.
