About the event

What

Participants will not only be going home with their own fabulous, bespoke drum lampshade, but will get a thorough grounding into the art of modern lampshade making, where the fabric is bonded to the lampshade wall - no sewing is involved.

There is a choice of 3 sizes (S, M, L) - option details shown at checkout.

When

In this beginner-level workshop there is a min. of 6 and max. of 12 students - you are guaranteed personal attention.

It is followed same day by the Lined Lampshade Workshop -  if you want to have a whole day of lampshade luxury, then you're very welcome to join us for both workshops!

Where

The Collective Grenfell  is a converted warehouse on the main street of this charming mid-west town, which has recently been re-purposed to present a range of work spaces for professionals and creatives (like US!).

Steeped in gold rush history and bushranger legends, and the birthplace of a famous Australian poet, the historic town of Grenfell is brimming with fascinating heritage. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Weddin Mountains National Park, you'll find historic buildings, country pubs and cultural events which make this a great destination for a weekend away.

Grenfell is 4hrs 45min drive from Sydney and 2hrs 30min from Canberra. (There are also buses that run to Grenfell from Lithgow in the Blue Mountains).

Further info on all the attractions and accomodation from the Grenfell Visitor Centre.
